centerNet is very excited to share the news that Day of DH 2023 will take place on Wednesday 31 May online, with the hashtag #dayofdh2023 (e.g on Mastodon, Twitter). This year, we are adopting the theme of “humanizing data.” As the humanities are under pressure internationally, how can DH centers respond to diverse challenges? We are particularly interested in hearing about strategies from the global DH community about their political, financial, or pedagogical challenges and their strategies for overcoming them. We ask the DH community to communicate what they do on Twitter or Mastodon, to share with the global community more about their DH projects, teaching, data, and collaborations; we also invite all centers and groups to organize events that bring our local communities together. We hope that you can join us to share what you do as a digital humanist, how and what you have been doing in DH, and how you are making your data more responsive to non-DH communities. How do we ensure that the data we collect and build are responsive to non-quantitative elements? Can DH help the broader humanities to meet our shared challenges in specific ways?
